Sermon Study began as the material for one small group that grew out of Living Oaks Church. Anyone is welcome to use it, inside or outside Living Oaks, including:
- other small groups who want to run the same study
- people studying Scripture on their own
- anyone catching up after missing a Sunday or traveling
When new studies come out
A new study each week, after Sunday's sermon. Special series, such as Think Biblically, get full studies too, on their own series page. Sign up above to get an email each time a new study is posted.
Who prepares the studies
Paul Sutter, an elder at Living Oaks Church, prepares every study. He leads a small group that meets in homes each week, and his goal is to spread the gospel in practical ways.
How the studies are prepared
Each study draws on Paul's own notes from the service, a video and audio recording of the sermon and its transcript, and summaries and analysis from AI tools.
Nothing produced with AI goes on the site, discussion questions included, until a person has reviewed it for accuracy and appropriateness and approved it.
Paul records each sermon himself, and only with the permission of the pastor or guest speaker.
